Suggestions:

• Before going fishing extend the trap by releasing the ties carefully (no sharp knives without full care, or you could damage the meshes).
• Get familiar with securing (by tying) the bait bag (top and bottom)and catch release sleeve before fishing.
• Attach weight to the underside outside of the trap using old flattened and drilled lead pipe or fishing weights attached with cable ties.
• This is a big trap; ensure you are using sufficient weight attached, or small anchors to stop drift.

DO NOT PUT ROCKS OR OTHER WEIGHT INSIDE THE TRAP - YOU WILL EVENTUALLY WRECK THE MESHES ON THE SEA BOTTOM.
