Specially manufactured, pre-slit silicone rubber tubing, for protection of the trap meshes where it passes over the frames.
Not essential, but very useful when working severely hard ground, harbour walls, or using the drop nets as landing nets from a boat.
Simply press into position and fasten with cable ties (supplied).
